Door Details
Sections are 2” thick. Sections are roll formed from 24 gauge hot dipped galvanized steel. Section joints are tongue and groove. Exterior and interior are pre-finished using a urethane primer and polyester finish. Bottom sections have a flexible vinyl bottom astragal.
Sections have a smooth finish and are roll formed with two major ribs and six minor ribs. End stiles and center stiles are ‘C’‑shaped made from 18 gauge galvanized steel. Available section heights are 21” and 24”.
All doors are built to meet or exceed standards established by ANSI/DASMA 102-2011.
Manual operation is standard for all doors.
Steel track and hardware components are galvanized to prevent rust and/or corrosion. Vertical tracks are a minimum of 16 gauge steel. Vertical track is graduated at 1/8” per linear foot of door height. 2” bracket mounted track is standard.
2” and 3” clip style angle mounted track is available for all sizes where not standard. 2” and 3” full continuous taper angle mounted track is available on door heights to 16’-0”. Consult a GARAGE DOOR DISTRIBUTORS representative with any questions.
Horizontal tracks are a minimum 16 gauge steel with 14 gauge steel support angles as required. 12” radius is also available on 2” track on doors up to 14’-0” tall at no additional cost.
Double end hinges are furnished on doors 18’-0” and wider. All hinges are 14 gauge minimum.
Cable drums are die cast aluminum with aircraft type cable. Springs are oil tempered, helical, torsion type mounted to a steel cross header shaft.
Inside lock is standard.
